Drying UV

The drying by UV , called curing in English, is a specialized field. It is necessary to determine the power, the duration and especially the process of exposure so that the method functions correctly.

There are two types of dryings:

  • That known as of the free radical which are released by radiation UV and start polymerization. It can be controlled and carried out in several stages;

  • the second, known as cation , slackening of the acids which involve the Polymérisation. Once the started reaction, this one cannot be stopped any more.

This type of drying can be very effective sometimes if it is suitably used and makes it possible to optimize the costs and the manufacturing lead times. The rejection of pollutants is famous also decreased being.
