The Drupa is the largest international fair concerning graphic and paper industries. It takes place every four years with Düsseldorf in Germany and is the occasion for the companies concerned with the Papeterie, the Prépresse the press or the Façonnage to present their technical innovations.

Drupa comes from the German words thickly cken (to print) and Pa pier .

The Drupa last

Drupa being four-year, the edition according to that of 1995 should have taken place in 1999. But to mark the year 2000, this edition was moved back one year.

  • In 2004:

    • 394.478 visitors;
    • 1.866 exhibitors come from 52 countries.
This edition of Drupa was presented like the " Drupa of JDF " , because it was the occasion for many exhibitors to communicate on their software and material " certified JDF" (the JDF is a format of metadata of graphic industries in full expansion).
  • In 2000:

    • 428.248 visitors;
    • 1.957 exhibitor come from 49 countries.

Next Drupa will take place of the May 29th to the June 11th 2008.
