Drums (river)
The Touques is a coastal Fleuve, of 108 kilometers, which is born in the hills from the Perche close to Field-High in the Département to the Flowering ash and is thrown in the Manche in Normandy, between Deauville and Trouville-on-Sea in the Pays of Trough: this Norman country is delimited besides by the catchment area of the Drums.
As of its source, the Drums runs right to North until Pont-l'Ev4eque cheese; its valley, marked well, section the Cretaceous plate of Clay to flint: Country of Trough in the West, Lieuvin and Country of Ouche in the East. A little before Pont-l'Ev4eque cheese, the course of the river is directed in the North-West and leads to the sea by a Estuaire ensablé.
The Drums receives like principal affluents the Orbiquet out of Right Bank with Lisieux, the Calonne also out of Right Bank with Pont-l'Ev4eque cheese.
It is about a river known as of first category where one can devote oneself to the Pêche with the fly. The Truite S of sea are famous there.
