Personalities related to the commune

The type-setter Jean-François Lesueur (1760 - 1837) was born in Plessiel, hamlet depend on the commune of Drucat.

Its residence was seems T it located on the current secondary road Abbeville - Hesdin, roughly halfway of the entry and the exit of the village.

In 2005 Henri GAURET, Mayor of the village and his predecessor Joseph DECOENE baptize the versatile room " Jean-François room Sweat " in homage to the type-setter.

A statue with its effigy is with Abbeville, vis-a-vis the municipal theater.

Another famous artist: the accordionist Michel PRUVOT resides at Drucat, in the district of Fine Wood.
