drizzle

The drizzle , or drizzle , is a Précipitation whose water drops appear to float in the air because of their small size (from 0.2 to 0.5 mm). These fines goutelettes fall very slowly. The Nuage which forms them low calls Stratus.

Drizzle is current especially in the coastal regions. The vertical movements of the air inside these clouds are not enough strong to enable them to develop by Collision, they must thus grow especially by Condensation. Therefore the droplets are so small.
