Driving force
In Chemistry, the thermodynamic concept of driving force is usually employed to indicate the difference in energy between the products of a Chemical reaction and the starting products, and which explain the course of the reaction.
In other words, the reaction is supported by the formation of more stable products (of weaker energy) than the starting products. This occurs in particular when:
- a connection of strong energy is created
- a combined multiple connection is created
- There is aromatization of a cycle
In environmental economics, the driving force is the translation of driving force , the pressure exerted on the environment.
