Driven Fei
Fei Mu (1906-1951) is a realizer Chinese considered as one of most important of the cinema preceding the communist revolution by 1949. It is known for its style and its dramas in costume.
Biography
Fei Mu is born in 1906 with Shanghai. It carries out its first film Night in the City produces by Lianhua Film Company with old 27 years which rencotnre a popular success and critical. The film is lost today.Its other films for Lianhua in the years 1930 as Blood one Wolf Mountain enable him to be recognized like an important cinaste.
It turns in 1948 its chief of work Printemps in a small town whose Tian Zhuangzhuang will make a remake in 2002.
After the communist revolution, Fei falls into the lapse of memory and is rejected by criticism before dying in 1951.
Its reputation changes with the beginning of the year 1980 when Film File Clouded it D-opens after fermture of with the Cultural revolution. The institution makes new copies of Printemps in a small town starting from the negative original and offers to film a new public. This last was regarded as one of largest Chinese films of all times by the Association of film criticisms hongkongais.
Fei Mu died in HongKong in 1951.
