Drawing Restraint 9 is a film américano-Japanese of the contemporary artist Matthew Barney where it is put in scene, in particular with his/her partner Björk who also composes the essence of the original soundtrack (left out of CD under the even title). Mainly based on a fantastico-metaphorical vision of the Shintoïsme, the film was made in Japanese language in Japan (with Nagasaki), where it was projected in preview on July 1st 2005 before being selected except competition with the Festival of Venice 2005.
The film left on the French screens on March 29th, 2006.
