Synopsis
1913, in the Jurassic countryside. Alphonse Bomme is of these farmers who occupy the long winter months to the manufacture of objects out of wooden… He lives in a farm isolated with his Antoinette wife and their Louis son, old of ten years, for which he nourishes great ambitions. Progressist and integrates, this peasant turner hardly gets along with Joseph Parroz, the carrier to which it sells his goods and of which it knows the operations of seduction near his wife! Far from the quarrels of adults, the heart of Louis is beating wildly for Marie, the girl of Raoul Monge, the teacher. Too much timid to declare its flame, it with the idea to dig the skittles out of wooden made by his/her father to give them the face of its beloved. By painting them, it obtains charming headstocks then that it slips into the coat of Marie. But, one day, the young girl falls ill. Reached tuberculosis, it is led to the hospital and is placed in quarantine. Louis often goes there, observing it by the glazed door. One afternoon, on the way of the return, it crosses Klaus, a German turner who had to flee his country after having taken the head of a working revolt…
