Draupnir (group)

Draupnir is a group of Black Metal melody French. It is the result of a project founded in 2005 whose Sinis (Composition, Batterie) is in the beginning. This one is quickly joined by Réès (guitar), Sade (low, song) also bass player of Emorage, and finally Vargath (second guitar).

The group wants to be recognizing qualities of the classical music, this one thus makes use of it of reference to draw up the harmonic diagrams of its pieces, by binding to all that the power and the darkness of the black metal. The influences extend from groups like Immortal and Satyricon or Darkthrone, with groups much more melody such as Anorexia Nervosa, Dimmu Borgir, Emperor, Opeth or Me Ten Months. With regard to the traditional influences, it is about Bach, Chopin, Saint-Saëns, Prokofiev, Albinoni, Pachelbel, Britten, or Rachmaninov.

The texts want to be representative of a world populated by the man whose only and true nature is mainly animated defects, driven back impulses, and of perversion. They want to be also conclusive soumoussion to which the men with respect to the beliefs and of the religions can be prone, and in particular when that gives place has contrary lifestyles and behaviors with any natural instinct (puritanism, sects, religious extremism…).

After the composition of an album by Sinis , the group agrees to record this one in order to be able to canvass and be made recognize with the eyes of the public.

The group will give meanwhile a concert very largely appreciated of the public in 1st part of Undercover Slut to the Scene Bastille.

Re-entry 2006, the album BLACK AND VICIOUS is in the course of finalization and its coming out date is planned for on January 27th, 2007. A series in concert is in forecast as well at the head of poster as in 1st parts of very famous groups in the medium of the Black metal. The group has the firm intention well to continue on scene by giving shows the percussion possible as regards visual, and will not hesitate has to make use of weapons such of the provocations to arrive has to transmit its messages and to attract towards him a maximum of public.
