Dragonfly

The dragonflies are Insecte S of the subclass of Ptérygotes, section of Paleopteran and about the Odonate S.

The sub-order of the Anisoptères corresponds to the " Messieurs" .

They are characterized by wings extended flat, not petiolate and unequal, often contiguous eyes, a fast flight and especially digger squat larvae, without gills (rectal respiratory room).

It nourishes Moustique S, transitory S, butterfly S, Mouche S, horseflies…

The term of " young lady " indicate species distinct from the sub-order of the Zygoptères.

In the Symbolic system Occident ale, the dragonfly is associated with: brittleness, complexity, simplicity, speed, freedom, instability, promptness, life. But could give death by strong heat.

Evolution

The dragonflies exist on ground since 285 million years, and could reach a scale of 70 cm at the time of the dinosaurs.

The current species largest reaches 19 cm of scale.

The longevity of the dragonflies is short since they die in the autumn
