Dragon Ball WP

Dragon Ball WP ( ドラゴンボール WP ) is a Televised series of Japanese in 64 22 minutes episodes, diffused Animation 1996 with 1997 and making following the Manga Dragon Ball of Akira Toriyama (like with the animated series Dragon Ball Z).

Synopsis

The history begins ten years after the end of Dragon Ball Z , when Its Gokû is transformed into child, because of Pilaf, by the crowned Dragon. It must seek the Dragon Balls to become again normal and especially to save the ground which, if the dragon balls are not joined together at the end of one year, will disintegrate. It thus leaves with Trunks and Pan (which was invited without their authorization) to seek these crystal balls scattered in all the Galaxie.

During their voyage, they undergo many adventures. They become acquainted with Baby which belonged to the most intelligent people of the universe (Tsufuls). The latter were destroyed by the Saiyan S. Baby was robotized by the Professor Myû. It goes on Ground, establishes eggs in practically all the Land ones and takes possession of the body of Végéta.
In the course of combat, Its Gokû will reach level 4 of Super Saiyan in order to beat it.

Professor Myû and the Doctor Gero being found in hell, they decide to work together on a new model of Cyborg. Putting their joint knowledge, they manage from there to create a double of C-17. They erect scaffolding, consequently occasion, a plan to trap Its Gokû in hell and to make leave all the enemies whom it killed (except Cell and Freezer that it will fight in hell). C-17 and its double will be linked into only one cyborg: Super C-17. This one will become infinitely more powerful than the preceding cyborgs.

The Dragon Balls too having been used (9 times in 30 years), they reveal the malefic dragons which were in each ball. Its Gokû and Pan will have to thus fight against the 7 dragons malefic in order to restore peace on Earth. Once the seven overcome dragons, Shenron indicates that henceforth, the heroes will not be able to use the Dragon Balls any more and will have to manage by themselves to solve their problems.

Its Gokû being also a source of problems, the Shenron dragon flies away by overriding its back with the Dragon Balls. One can however wonder whether it is really at this time there that Gokû dies or if it is not that a temporary departure as our hero has habit to do it. Indeed at the time of the departure, Its Gohan, Its Goten and Chichi do not seem disturbed in addition to-measurement and even decide to organize a great meal joining together all the band. This version is however not very probable because Pan, it, seems to have understood that it will not re-examine any more her grandfather and the attitude of Vegetated lets to us think that Its Gokû disappears forever.

The epilog occurs hundred years later, at the time of a Tenka Ichi Budôkai. One sees the descendants of His Gokû there and of Vegetated to prepare for a combat of juniors. Side, only character of the remainder of the history to being still in life, sees Gokû in the platforms looking at the combat and tries to join it. However, whereas it approaches the place where it had seen it, Its Gokû is not there any more.

Sagas

Dragon Ball WP is cut out into 4 sagas principal:
  • Saga "Seek Balls" Dragon; /" Dragon Balls with the stars noires" :

This saga extends from episodes 1 to 21. It is that of which the fans generally think when they hear of Dragon Ball WP. Gokû (become again small), Side and Trunks leaves in space to find the Dragon Balls with black stars. There is generally one (small) enemy by episode. The lack of action and the fact of focusing themselves only on Gokû, Trunks and Pan (and thus of forsaking Vegetated and the others) make that this saga is not really appreciated fans.
  • Saga Baby :

The principal saga of Dragon Ball WP. It extends from the episodes 22 to 41. It is with this saga that the series finds its side " action" with many combat and the return of Vegetated, Goten and the others. Baby is a baby transferring, going down from the race of Tsufurujin, which can be established in human body in order to control them. Thus, it takes the control of Gohan and Goten but especially of Vegeta. When Goku arrives on Earth, he will face Baby in the body of Vegeta and will become even Super Saiyajin 4. This saga will see the return of Oob and its fusion with Buu, the return of the tail of Goku, the birth of Super Saiyan 4 and the sacrifice of Piccolo.
  • Saga Super No 17 :

The shortest saga of all the history Dragon Ball: it extends from episodes 42 to 46. She tells how Dr. Mu (the creator of Baby) and Dr. Gero is combined in order to make amalgamate the N°17 present and future, which will cause to create Super N°17, the ultimate artificial form of life. This saga will see the death of Krilin, the rebellion of N°18, a new confrontation between Goku, Cell and Freeza, the return of escaped enemies of the hell, the combination of the capacities of Dende and Piccolo in order to help Goku and a new use of Super Saiyan 4 and Ryu-ken (Fist of the dragon).
  • Saga of the Dragons Maléfiques :

The last of the sagas. It extends from episodes 47 to 64. She explains why Ro Kaio Shin saw of an evil eye the intensive use of the Dragon Balls: indeed, with each time a wish is made, of Minus energy accumulates in the Dragon Balls, until making them crack. It is what arrives in this saga, and from the malefic dragons is born from the Dragon Balls: there are of it 7 on the whole, each one born from a wish made in the series and bearing the name from one from the Dragon Balls. The first part of the saga retente a " return to the sources" with Side and Goku which leaves to face the dragons, which appear rather weak and often do not last more than one episode. The second part of the saga put on the other hand much more on the action, with the combat against Suu Shenron and San Shenron, the rival twins of ice and fire, and especially that against I Shenron (Li Shenron) which absorbs the preceding dragons. This saga will see Vegeta passing Super Saiyan 4 then to amalgamate with Goku (what will give Gogeta Super Saiyan 4), and especially the end of the trilogy Dragon Ball, an end which has what to move all large fan since it gives a prospect on the future (100 years later) and especially bus of the extracts of the 3 series are diffused on bottom of daN daN, as well as new drawings of Goku of Toriyama itself: it indeed took part much more in the oddment that the remainder, which explains why it is closer to the original spirit established by Toriyama.
