Dragey-Ronthon

Dragey-Ronthon is a common French, located in the department of the Manche and the area Basse-Normandie.

Geography

Rural district whose economic activity rests primarily on the breeding (of horses and milch cows) and estival tourism.

History

In 1973, the communes of Dragey, Brooms, Ronthon and Saint-Jean-the-Thomas formed Dragey-Tombelaine. Brooms, Ronthon and Saint-Jean-the-Thomas kept a statute of common partners. In 1979, Brooms and Saint-Jean-the-Thomas took again their independence, and the common one finally took the name of Dragey-Ronthon.
