Draft NBA 1978

The Draft NBA 1978 was notable for the selection of the star of Indiana State Larry Bird. It was selected by the Boston Celtics. It was the first time that not-American, Mychal Thompson of the the Bahamas, was selected in the forefront. However, one cannot really regard it as foreigner, Thompson having passed the majority of his childhood in Florida and having been formed in NCAA.
