Draeneï

The Draeneï are a race imaginary pertaining to the universe of Warcraft of Blizzard Entertainment.

Draeneï are creatures humanoïdes. They go down from the Eredar S which have flees with Velen, one of the three chiefs, corrupted Titan Sargeras while going on Draenor, the planet of origin of the Orc S.

History

Approximately twenty-five thousand years ago, the race of the Eredar S emerges on the world of Argus. They were extremely intelligent and had a natural affinity for the magic in all its forms. By using their capacities, they developed a vast and marvellous company.

Unfortunately, the achievements of the Eredars drew the attention of Sargeras, the Destructor of Worlds. Into full Burning Crusade for éradiquer all lives with cosmos, it thought that the Eredars brilliances would be an invaluable help to direct the enormous démoniaque army which it was going to found. Thus, it came into contact with three of the Eredars big bosses: Kil' jaeden, Archimonde and Velen. In exchange of their fidelity, Sargeras offered to the Eredars knowledge and an incomparable power.

Although the offer was very trying, Velen have a vision of the future which fills it of fear. Sargeras would respect its offer, but the Eredars would be transformed into demons. It hastened to inform Kil' jaeden and Archimonde, but they drew aside its concern, being allured by the promises of Sargeras. They gave him their allegiance and were transformed into immortal demons.

The power of Sargeras was such as Velen was desperate. However, its prayer was heard. A being came to Velen and explained to him that it was a Naaru, a race whose magic could stop the Burning Croisade. The Naaru offered safety to Velen and Eredars which wanted to follow it.
