Dr. John

Dr. John , born under the name Malcolm Rebennack the November 21st 1940 with La Nouvelle-Orléans, Louisiana is a Pianiste and Chanteur, his music covers and combines Blues, boogy woogy, and Rock-and-roll. Professor Longhair had an important influence on Rebennack.

Biography

It takes part in 1999 in the Festival Blues Passions of Cognac. He interprets the song Walkin' to New Orleans of Fats Domino in September 2005 to close the téléthon Shelter from the Storm: With Concert for the GULF Coast for the assistance with the victims of the Hurricane Katrina, which devastated La Nouvelle-Orléans and its area.
