Dréan in ( Arab: الدرعان) old name (Mondovi), is a city located on the east coast of the Algérie, largest in the Wilaya of El-Taref), to 25 km in the south of Annaba (ex Hippône; ex Bône). Called by its inhabitants “Small Paris”, it is a mainly known agricultural village for its tobacco, its oranges and its vines. The city counts approximately 60.000 inhabitants today. Albert Camus was born there.

Administratively, Dréan is Daira which counts several communes like Chihani, Chebaita Mokhtar and Besbes.

It connects between 4 wilayas: El-Taref, Year, Guelma and Souk Ahras.

Its football club is UMS Drean, it plays into 2 division.
