Down tempo
The down tempo (or downbeat ) is current musical born from the fusion of the Trip hop and World music towards the end of the Années 1980. It is a music at the slow rate/rhythm and relatively releasing, a music of Méditation, all in all. The emergence of great musical mobilities at that time quickly made it fall into the lapse of memory until its world popularization thanks to famous OK from Talvin Singh.
As its name indicates it this mobility exceeds only seldom the 90 bpm.
The down tempo is not affiliated with a precise style or musical genre even if some would readily classify it in the music electro . Generally arranged with the Dub or the Trip hop, it is satisfied to be minimalist, effective, slow and transcendent (from its marriage with the trip hop).
