Origins

Dove Attia was born in Tunisia from Tunisian Jewish father and French Jewish mother born in Tunisia, (see statute of the Jews in Tunisia, at the time of Protectorate). Dove Attia always refused to specify its birth date in maintenance, but during the recording of the no-claims bonus of the DVD of the Sun king in Portugal with his troop of singers, a journalist of Club Med Magazine indicates that it would be then 45 years old. This age seems however underestimated but Dove Attia always refused to specify its age in a public way. Many contradictory informations circulate. However in the press release given on the official site of linternaute, it is stipulated into 2005 that Dove Attia is born with the beginning of the year 60, this is supported by the official site of VSD which on this subject tells the anecdote of the first name of Dove Attia that his/her mother chose after having seen the Exodus film left on the screens in 1960, in homage to the hero of film. However, it is probable that the most credible source is its note on the site of the former students of X (which is thus pressed on official documents) which mentions like birth date, 1957.

His/her parents carry out a modest life. His/her father, electrician, work in the official buildings. Thus it makes return tickets between Paris and the Tunisian capital, taking along with him its small family. Murielle, the sister of Dove Attia is part.

Dove evolves/moves thus between several cultures: Frenchwoman and Jewish Tunisian. But it is mainly in Tunisia that it passes its childhood and its adolescence.

Studies

After obtaining sound vat S, Dove Attia settles in Paris and makes 2 years of prépas to the Lycée Chaptal then one year of Math spé with the Lycée Saint-Louis, where during these cycles, says it in one of its interviews, he was a steady and studious pupil, and, " that he worked hard for réussir."

Director-general and President

As a scenario writer it takes part in the writing of the booklet with two other authors: Jacques Domas, Joanne-C Azoubel, while Elie Chouraqui makes the setting in scene. " is followed from there; Gone With The Wind " , " The Outlaws " and " King Soleil".

Jury of televised casting

In 2003, it makes Télévision on M6 as jury of an emission of TV-hook which is called " With the Research of the Nouvelle Star ". Dove Attia signs, then, a springtide in 2004. The name of the emission curtails and is called from now on " Nouvelle Star " ; the emission gains in audience. Dove Attia convinced by the production of M6 and his/her colleagues Marianne James, Manu Katché and André Manoukian, jury just like him, sign also the seasons 2005,2006 and 2007.

And always of new projects or new collaborations

In 2006, Dove Attia takes part with Albert Cohen, Addy Bakhtiar and Laurent de Gourcuff, owners of the bar establishments, dance hall, cabaret " The Studio 287" , " Milliardaire" , " Planches" , the " Regine' s". This establishment which names the Show Puts - dance hall-bar-cabaret - is the new Parisian appointment where many known and less known artists occur.

Its passion

The Music. Dove Attia dreams to make career in the showbusiness; this idea does not leave it, all the occasions are good to set up one or the other project. Finally, the dream, " its rêve" ends up becoming reality. He is finally the success which he deserves, but it will not be as an artist, he will be other side, that of the production.

Mediatization

Dove Attia since the beginning of its work of producer of musical comedies in 2000 remains in background, one sees appearing only one name for the 10 Commands at the sides of those of Albert Cohen and Elie Chouraqui who do not fail to come to greet the public after certain representations of the Ten Commands (one also sees it coming to greet the public in the DVD of the Ten Commands).

In 2003, the name of Dove Attia has finally a more media face. As a producer of his second Gone With The Wind musical comedy which it produces with his associate Albert Cohen. But especially as jury (in the capacity as producer of musical comedy) of a very new emission which is made known on M6 under the name of With the Research of the Nouvelle Star (the current famous emission of TV-hook Nouvelle Star).

Birth - Birth with the beginning of the year sixty, Tunis (Tunisia), in a family of workmen. As his/her father installed electrical equipment in the official buildings, his/her mother and the children made return tickets between Paris and Tunis, with the liking of the missions.
Identity - Its true first name is Jules. But since everyone made fun of him at the school, treating it of “old man”, it chooses its second first name: Dove. His/her mother had thus named it after having flashé on a character of film of Otto Preminger, Exodus (1960).
the underworld - is 15 years old, it is called by its pals “OJ”, like OJ Attia, celebrates it gangster. To be made respect, Dove claimed that it was its great-uncle.
Malayan - After its scientific vat, it has the choice between medicine and maths sup. At the same time, his/her grandmother is hospitalized. While going to visit him, he disappears while passing in front of a intubé patient. It is decided, it will make maths sup!

Music - It founds an rock group with some of his comrades. One day that they attend a lecture of mathematics, Dove and its comparses musicians settle with the last row and play. Flabbergasted, professor M. Schwartz finds the idea amusing.
Unsuited - Its career of bass player will turn short, the young man proving to be a poor musician. At the time of a concert in a MJC of the Paris region, Dove realizes that all the members of the group disfigure it. It had not realized that it played the base line of another song.
Easy way - After Polytechnic, he becomes professor of maths-physics during seven years. Dove creates its own structure of teaching, prépa-sciences. But, fêtard become inveterate, it finds a parade when it did not have time to correct the copies: “The duties that you returned to me are too bad, you will start again them now! ” While the pupils rough-hew, he drowses, the face hidden in his hands.
Beginnings - One of its classrooms becomes each evening studio of repetition for the group of which it decided to be occupied. Improvised to manage, it meets Albert Cohen, the director of Radio Nostalgia, to make him listen to their pieces.
Cassettes - It finds Albert by chance in a sports hall. The ex-director of radio operator product from now on video cassettes on the foot. The two rogues will assemble a company together.
Meeting - They carry out a whole collection of vidéos with Leon Zitrone commenting on the great events of the XXe century. Risks - In 2000, it produces the Ten Commands. A project with so large budget that Dove and its associate Albert Cohen are constrained to mortgage all their goods.
Stress - the evening of the first, it cannot see the spectacle so much it cries. Since, it became a ritual: with each launching, the producer is in a bar sponging his stress. At the end of the show, it invites to know how that occurred.
Premonition - In May 2003, whereas Gone With The Wind soon will start, Dove made funny of dream: it is on the scene of the Sport hall and the artists play in a spectacle on Louis XIV. When, several weeks later, he speaks about it in Kamel Ouali, this one says to him to have had the same idea.
