Doug Basham

Douglas " Doug" Basham (born the May 12th 1971) is a American all-in wrestler known for its appearances with the World Wrestling Entertainment between 2002 and 2007, and with the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling under the name of boxing ring Basham in 2007.

Career

Ohio Valley Wrestling (1990s-2003, 2005,2007)

Before being called in the principal roster of the WWE, Basham was in osn territory of development, the Ohio Valley Wrestling. Doug Basham is the nephew of the founder of the OVW Danny Davis. Doug Basham was a babyface at the top with the federation, gaining on several occasions OVW Heavyweight Championship.

Doug Basham turned heel and was implied in a Storyline which saw it being increasingly jealous of the affection of his/her uncle towards another superstar of the OVW Nick Dinsmore, known later like Eugene. Doug disappeared at the end of 2000 and reveneait as masked all-in wrestler and was known as a The Machine , being caught some in Nick Dinsmore. Dinsmore beat The Machine in Retirement vs. Mask Match, and thus uncovered Basham.

Doug " The Machine" Basham created the Revolution clan and competed with the signal stars of the OVW. Basham signed a contract of development with the WWE in April 2002 and was signed soon with SmackDown! in May 2003.

After being disparru screens of the WWE in September 2005, Doug turned over to the OVW under a news gimmick; " The Superstar off Superstars." At that time, it came on the boxing ring by using the topic muscial Superman before signing an new agreement with the WWE in April 2006.

The March 7th 2007, Basham Brothers turned over to the OVW and beat Wyatt Young & Mike Tolar in a Dark match.

World Wrestling Entertainment (2002-2007)

The WWE being impressed by its abilities on the boxing ring, Doug received many matches of test at the end of 2002 and at the beginning of 2003 against adversaries like Mark Jindrak, Charlie Haas, Lenny Lane, Val Venis, Nathan Jones, Redd Dogg, Nova, Johnny Jeter, Horshu, Shannon Moore, and Billy Kidman. It made also team with Damaja, Sean O' Haire, and Bull Buchanan

Doug Basham made its official beginning the May 29th, 2003 with SmackDown! like half of the team of the Basham Brothers with its partner Danny Basham. Basham Brothers made their official beginning with the WWE the May 29th 2003 with SmackDown! by beating Rikishi and Spanky. Little time after Shaniqua became their manager. Their gimmick was at the sadomasochistic origin that of two fans , with Shaniqua being them Dominatrice. Bashams gained their first WWE Tag TEAM Championship vis-a-vis Los Guerreros the October 23rd 2003 with SmackDown! . The team lost the titles in February 2004 against Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty. Basham Brothers and Shaniqua faced Scotty 2 Hotty and Rikishi with No Way Out 2004 in a match handicap match for the titles avoided quipes but they lost the match when Shaniqua underwent fallen. Just after this match Basham Brothers lost to eat Shaniqua to them as it was sent to OVW to involve itself. During the following months, Basham Brothers often appeared with WWE Velocity and right on some occasions with SmackDown! for what was often defeats.

Basham Brothers joined the Cabinet John Bradshaw Layfield the November 25th 2004 with SmackDown! . Known as the Co-Secretaries off Defense of JBL, their role were often to sacrifice themselves to prevent Layfield from being put at evil by its adversaries. Bashams again gained the titles by team vis-a-vis Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Damm, Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak, and Eddie Guerrero and Booker T in a furnace-way elimination match in January 2005. Basham Brothers lost the titles against Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero with No Way Out 2005 the February 20th. From this moment Bashams either jobbaient with SmackDown! or beat any team which put itself in their legs at Velocity . Basham Brothers left the Cabinet of Layfield the June 16th 2005 with SmackDown! , affirming that they were tired to be the " tests of crash landing of JBL" and not to draw enough from respect.

The June 30th 2005, Danny Basham one of was exchanged of last minute at the time of WWE Draft 2005, which saw it going from SmackDown! with '' RAW ''. This left each man alone in solo in each division of the WWE. Doug turned over to the TV the August 27th 2005 to Velocity under the gimmick " The Bash Man" Doug Basham . The Bash Man came on the boxing ring while carrying sunglasses, and a leather jacket. Doug continued to try out the squash matches under this gimmick unexplainable, sporadically for the following months.

Whereas it has disparru screens of the WWE, Doug turned over to OVW for several passages before signing an new agreement with the WWE in April 2006. Doug and Danny were both joined together with the division of ECW in July 2006 with several House show S before becoming with the screen the " Security Enforcers" masked and without name of the leader of the ECW Paul Heyman. However, when Danny was wounded with the biceps, it was replaced by Derek Neikirk, which continued the role of Danny like the second enforcer masked.

The existence of this team of safety was called in question after Paul Heyman is withdrawn from the screens of the WWE. However, the team remained to take part (as a jobbers) in a match handicap against Bobby Lashley before disparraître in their turn.

The January 19th 2007, Doug Basham was returned by the WWE at the sides of other all-in wrestlers.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2007)

Doug Basham or quite simply Basham and Danny Basham (now known as Damaja) began with the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling the May 10th, 2007 with TNA Impact! . They were revealed to be the allies of Christy Hemme, and with TNA Sacrifice 2007, Basham and Damaja beat the Heme rivals, Kip James and Lance Hoyt in a match by team. The August 15th 2007, Basham was returned just like its partner not to be itself presented to a House show.
