Doudinka
Doudinka (in) is a port city of the Krai de Krasnoïarsk in Russia with the mouth of the Ienisseï accessible to the cargo liners from open sea. It is located 320 km inside the Arctic Cercle.
The port is useful mainly for export of nickel and the palladium extracted in the area by the Russian mining company MMC Norilsk Nickel (4,5 million tons in 2006). Before the annual Rout at the end of May - at the beginning of June, which makes assemble the level of the river of more than eight meters, the cranes are moved towards the interior of the grounds of several hundred meters.
The city, of a population of approximately 28.000 inhabitants, was declared Ville closed in 2001 to restrict its access. It was founded in 1667.
