Double bass with wind, instrument of Copper of Serious Tonality .

The musician who out of cheek is called the double bass or, more often, the Contrebassiste.

A copper wind instrument of the group of the saxhorns. Of big size, it is in B flat or E flat and is useful in the brass bands.

A bow and string instrument bears also the name of Contrebasse.
