Double François-Joseph
François-Joseph Doubles , born with the Verdun-on-Garonne (Tarn-et-Garonne) the March 11th 1776 and died with Paris the June 12th 1842, is a French doctor.
It makes its studies with Montpellier. Come in Paris towards 1803, it made known there by its practice and its works. It succeeds Antoine Portal with the Academy of Science in 1832.
The Pairie had been offered to him under Louis-Philippe Ier, in the condition which it gives up the exercise of his art: it was made honor while refusing.
