Double Assassination in the street Mortuary

Double assassination in the street Morgue ( The Murders in the Street Mortuary in the original edition) is a news of Edgar Allan Poe, published in April 1841 in the Graham' S Magazine , translated into French initially by Isabelle Meunier then, in 1856, by Charles Baudelaire in the collection extraordinary Histoires . It is the first appearance of the detective invented by Poe, the Dupin Knight who must face a history of incomprehensible murder for the police force.
