Douëra

The Douëra is a house of style Mozarabe located at Malzéville, near Nancy, in Lorraine.

History

August 1st Charles Cournault modifies the family home towards 1856 in Moorish villa following voyages in Algérie in company of Eugene Delacroix. it ensures in person decorations interiors of its peitnures and objects imported by its care.

The house will also see Etienne Cournault, small son of the precedent, which will be established in the family home as of 1930 to devote itself to the painting of glass and engraving.
