Dorian West

Dorian Edward West , was born the October 5th 1967 with Wrexham (Wales). It is a former player of Rugby to XV, which played with the team of England between 1998 and 2003 and with the club of Leicester Tigers primarily, evolving/moving at the post of talonnor (1,80  m and 100  kg).

Career

Born with the Wales, its family moves in England when he is child. Before the era of professionalism, he was police officer in the unit of Nottinghamshire Constabulary.

He plays for Leicester Tigers like flanker (item 6 or 7) but when he joined the team of Nottingham in 1991, he reconverts himself at the station of talonenur (number 2).

He refuses a selection for Wales.

He turns over to Leicester in 1996 when he is an alternative for Richard Cockerill, holder.

Its level of play improves and he is noticed when Richard Cockerill is at rest before or after a selection.

He knows his first international cape the February 7th 1998, at the time of a match against the team of France, he is substitute and he returns in the place of Richard Cockerill.

The following match, Richard Cockerill is wounded but it is Mark Regan, wounded against France, which becomes titular. Dorian West is substitute.

Cockerill is less strong in club and progessivement West takes to him its place like holder with Leicester, and West knows other selections in 2001.

It disputes the Tournoi of the six nations 2001, and it takes part in the round in Canada and the United States, which is worth three new selections to him.

It belongs to the group which gains the World cup 2003 (2 disputed matches) and it announces its international retreat.
