Donkey Konga

Donkey Konga is a Jeu of rate/rhythm putting in the high-speed motorboat the character of video game Donkey Kong (Konga is a word game between Kong and Conga), left in 2003 (with the Japan) on GameCube. It was developed by Namco and was published by Nintendo. This play is played with Bongo S (and not of the congas) (the Bongo DK , kind of drum), replacing the lever and allowing a original Gameplay .

Gameplay

The player plays with a Bongo DK (it is also possible to play with a lever), and must strike the drums at the time when the symbols appear on the screen; there exist four types of symbols:
  • the yellow indicates that it is necessary to strike the drum of left,
  • the red indicates that it is necessary to strike the drum of right-hand side,
  • the purple one indicates that both should be struck simultaneously,
  • the blue which it is necessary to strike in its hands (the bongo DK is equipped with a sound sensor).
When these symbols are prolonged in length, it is necessary to strike in a way corresponding to the color of many times until the end of the line.

The tape speed of the symbols and their number depend on the song and the selected mode of difficulty.

Soundtrack

The songs are not the same ones as those of the Japanese original version of the play. They are not the most known versions, but of the reinterpreted versions.
