Donchery
Donchery is a common French, located in the department of the the Ardennes and the area Champagne-Ardenne.
Geography
Donchery is on a loop of the Meuse, with a few kilometers in the west of Sedan, on which it is bordering. The territory of common has a form of eight, directed north in the south. The borough of Donchery is located at the south, on the edge of the Meuse. The high part of the " huit" is largely covered by the national forest of the Ardennes. The Meuse constitutes the Eastern limit of the commune, but this one extends a little on other side from the river in the south.The commune is served by railway (SNCF railway station of Donchery) and by the highway A203 (left 5, Donchery) which cross the territory of the commune of west in east.

Donchery is médiatiquement known within the framework of the business Fourniret because the castle of Sautou is on the territory of the common . This small manor of the XIXe century, isolated and surrounded by 15 hectares of ground and the of the Ardennes forest was the property of the alleged serial killer. The remainders of the bodies of Jeanne-Marie Desramault and Elisabeth Brichet, two of her victims, disappeared respectively on March 18th, 1989 with Charleville-Mézières and on December 20th, 1989 with Saint-Were useful in Belgium, were found there the 3 and on July 4th, 2004. Michel Fourniret had been able bought this castle thanks to the nest egg of the Gang of the postiches on which it had succeeded in putting the hand.
