Donald Anderson is a Personnage of video game in the series Metal GEAR . It makes its appearance in the play Metal GEAR Solid .
Donald Anderson is the chief of the DARPA. He preaches the policy of nuclear deterrence, and it is besides for this reason that he collaborates in the project Metal GEAR REX. With Kenneth Baker, President d' ArmsTech, it is taken as an hostage at the time of the incident of Shadow Moses, whereas they were in visit to see the advance of project REX.
Anderson is then questioned by Revolver Ocelot, the terrorists wanting to know one of the two codes of activation of REX (the other being held by Kenneth Baker). But Ocelot is obliged to kill it while making accept the others with a bur. Indeed, Donald knew that Ocelot worked for Solidus Snake and could have ruined its cover.
The terrorists will thus obtain never the code of Anderson. To mitigate that, Decoy Octopus takes its appearance and makes accept Solid Snake that the terrorists have the code. Learning shortly after that Baker gave its code (under the torture of Ocelot), Snake thus believes that the terrorists are able to launching a nuclear missile and hastens to go to return the codes of desactivation. The trap of the terrorists carried out by Liquid Snake is closed again then. Solid Snake has in fact activated the launching of the missile. The codes of desactivation indeed make it possible to activate or decontaminate the launching of the missile according to its current statute. The terrorists having played the game, making accept Snake which the launching of the missile was imminent, this last as its superiors fall into the trap. Believer to decontaminate Metal GEAR and thus to cancel the launching of the missile, Snake thus causes the opposite. He faces then Liquid Snake which was on board Metal GEAR and manages to stop it.
