Domnall Gift
Domnall Gift mac Conaill king of the Scots of Dalriada of 689 with 696.
Wire of Conall Crandomna, it succeeds his brother Máel-Duin mac Conaill as king of Dalriada. The Duan Albanach allots a 13 years to him reign over which we have little information.
The Annales of Ulster indicate to us that it was killed 696 without specifying if it is of a murder or a death to the combat. After its disappearance the throne of Dalriada was occupied by Ferchar Fota king of Cenél Loairn which had become " de facto " the principal sovereign of Scots since nearly 20 years.
