Dommelen
Dommelen is a village which depends on the commune of Valkenswaard, in the province of the Brabant-Septentrional to the Netherlands. The village is located at the south-west of Eindhoven, between Dommel and Keersop.
Dommelen draws its name from the Dommel, small river which crosses the village. Thanks to the presence of this fresh water the village could be made a name by producing a notable beer, the Dommelsch. The village also has an old man Water mill of historical interest.
Dommelen remained an independent commune until in 1934, date on which it amalgamates with Valkenswaard.
