Dommel

The Dommel is a Rivière of the Belgium and Netherlands. It 146 km, including 20 km in the Belgian Limbourg and 126 km is long in the Brabant-Septentrional . It was already mentioned at the time Roman, under the name Dutmala .

Source and river basin

The source of Dommel is close to the hamlet of Wauberg in the commune of Peer (Limbourg). The river passes to Overpelt and Neerpelt before crossing the border Dutchwoman in the south of Borkel in Schaft. Afterwards, it passes to Dommelen (which draws its name from the river), Veldhoven, Eindhoven, Its in Breugel, Sint-Oedenrode, Boxtel and Vught.
