Dominique Raimbourg

Dominique Raimbourg is a French politician, born the April 28th 1950 with Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine).

Member of the French Communist party between 1976 and 1981, it is adherent today Socialist party.

Biography

Dominique Raimbourg is the son of the French actor Bourvil.

He has a training of lawyer. He exerted as a penalist at the bar of Nantes.

Elected to the municipal council of Nantes since 1989, he is currently assistant of the mayor delegated to safety and peace public.

He was substitute for Jacques Floch, Député PS of the Fourth district of the Loire-Atlantique, which he replaced with the National Assembly when this last enters the Gouvernement Lionel Jospin the September 4th 2001 as a Secretary of State to the war veterans.

Jacques Floch not representing itself, Dominique Raimbourg was indicated candidate of the PS for the legislative elections of 2007. He was elected Député of the Fourth district of the Loire-Atlantique the June 17th 2007 while beating with the second round Christine Thébaudeau (UMP) with 64,49% of the voices. At the National Assembly, it sits within the group SRC and is Member of the Commission of the laws.
