Dominik Hrbatý

Dominik Hrbatý , (born the January 4th 1978, with Bratislava) is a professional tennis player, Slovak. Called “Dominator”, he was elected in 1996 by ATP “Revelation of the year”. He is coaché by Tibor Toth.

Hrbatý gained 6 titles into simple over circuit ATP: in 1999 with San Marino and Prague, in 2001 with Auckland, Adelaide, Auckland and Marseilles. Its best classification with the ATP (Entry) was one 12th world place, performance which it carried out the October 18th 2004.

Its best performance in Grand Slam is a semi-final with Roland-Garros in 1999 where it resisted Andre Agassi a long time.

With Perth in 2005, associated with its compatriot Daniela Hantuchová, it gains the Hopman Cup.

Finally of the Coupe Davis in 2005, Hrbatý was inclined vis-a-vis the Croat and more in form that never Ivan Ljubičić at the time of the first match - its only defeat into simple in this test, that Croatia gained with the 5th match. In 2006, it reaches the finale of the master series of Paris-Bercy where it loses vis-a-vis Nicolay Davydenko.
