Dominic Howard

Dominic James Howard was born the December 7th 1977 with Stockport, England. It is beater within the English rock group MUSE.

Dominic Howard born in Stockport close to Manchester moved at the 8 years age in the small town of Teignmouth, in the Comté of Devon in England. It starts to learn how to play of the battery at the 11 years age after being impressed by a group of jazz playing in its school. Its first group was called " Mayhem" carnage;. At this point in time it met Matthew Bellamy and Christopher Wolstenholme with which it forms today the group of music MUSE. Matthew Bellamy and Dominic Howard, seeking a bass player after more than two years of references within their own group, required of Christopher Wolstenholme which played of the battery in a group called " Fixed Penalty" to play of low. In a great spirit of sacrifice, Chris accepted and started to learn how to play of this instrument. During the years 1993-1994, the group forms the " Gothic Plague" then the " Rockets Dolls" Baby; before taking definitively the name of MUSE in March 1994.

Dominic Howard, is the beater, essential element within the group. Its great characteristic is that, being left-handed, the direction of its battery is thus reversed so that it can played of its left hand in a dominant way.
