Domazan
Domazan is a common French, located in the department of the Gard and the area Languedoc-Roussillon.
Its inhabitants are called Domazanais and Domazanaises.
Geography
The commune of Domazan is bordering on the communes of Rochefort-of-Gard, Saze, Aramon, Théziers and Estézargues.
The commune is crossed by the Trunk road 100.
The brook Briançon takes its source in the commune and crosses the center of the village.
History
The village was touched hard by the floods of September 2002. The strong rains caused many property damages and the exceptional rising of Briançon cost the life has a person.
