Doggystyle

Doggystyle is the first album solo of Snoop Doggy Dogg, left in 1993 at Death Row Records.

This album is that of the dedication for Snoop, which had made a breakthrough in the world of the Hip hop with its contributions noticed to the album The Chronic of Dr. DRE. This exponential notoriety made it possible Doggystyle to become the first album of the history to enter to the Billboard Music Charts in the first place. According to SoundScan, the album was sold to 5,9 million specimens (March 2005) and obtains the 30e place with regard to the sales over the first week with 803.000 sold albums

Doggystyle remained at the top of the Billboard 200 during three weeks. “Who Am I (What' S My Name)? ” of Snoop was the individual first, it reached the eighth position of the Billboard Hot 100 with the the United States, just like “Gin and Juice” which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1995.

Doggy Style is of course a reference to its name of scene, " Snoop Doggy Dogg" , but Doggy Style means in American slang Levrette.
