Docks of France is an old sign of distribution, repurchased in 1996 by Auchan.

History

  • 1904 : Ernest Toulouse creates, with Tours, the Company Docks of the Center .
  • 1957 : Docks of France , is installed on the Paris region.
  • 1963 : the first Hypermarché French opens its doors.
  • 1966 : The Group Docks of France opens its first hypermarket under the sign SuperSuma .

  • 1968: Creation of the subsidiary company Sabeco in Spain
  • 1969: Creation of the hypermarkets Mammoth
  • 1978: Creation of the subsidiary company Lil' Field Food Blinds with the the United States,

  • 1980: Repurchase of the Cofradel ,
  • 1982: Creation of Atac
  • 1987: Repurchase of the Stewardships of the Center
  • 1993: Repurchase of the Alsatian Company of Supermarkets .
  • 1995 : Acquisition of a holding in a distributive firm in Poland,
  • 1996: tender offer of Auchan on the whole of the group Docks of France
  • 1998: The Parisian Distributive firm , the Distributive firm of the West , the Distributive firm of the Center , the Alsatian Distributive firm , the Lyons Company of Distribution and the distributive firm the Picardy Hive amalgamate with the Parisian Distributive firm which takes the name of Atac .
  • 1999 : Reorganization of the group Auchan:
The signs specialized in the Hypermarket S Auchan and Mammouth amalgamate under the name of Auchan
The signs specialized in the Supermarket S and the stores of proximity Atac and Eco Service amalgamate under the name of Atac
