Do not touch with the grisbi

Touchez not with the grisbi is a French film of Jacques Becker, left on the screens with Paris in March 1954. It is an adaptation of the novel of the same name of Albert Simonin.

Synopsis

Two gangsters are on a “master stroke”, but a third will covet the spoils: 50 million in ingots.

Comments

One needed the refusal of Daniel Gélin, which was seen too young person to play max , so that Jean Gabin incarnates the role. It is indeed Touchez not with the grisbi which started again the career of the actor. Since the end of the Second world war, the services of Jean Gabin to the screen had not been crowned success. And it is max the liar , gangster who aspires at rest, which gives again with the actor his popular dimension. It should be noted that they are the beginnings with the cinema of Lino Ventura, then former fighter. The film was a success at the time of its exit into the room in 1954.
