Djötchi

Djötchi or Joci (Mongolian Züĉi , of zoĉin : the host), oldest son of Gengis Khan and its principal wife Börte, born in 1183 and dead little before his/her father in 1227. He and its descendants conquered the Russian steppes, grounds of the khans of the Horde of Gold.

Another branch constituted the dynasty of the Chaybanides, which reversed the Timourides and conquered current the Ouzbékistan in 1507.

Among his sons, one finds Batu-Khan, Orda, Berké and Chayban.
