Djeddah
Djeddah (rear RTL ''' جدّة '''), on the edges of the Red Sea, is the second town of Saudi Arabia and a great shopping mall. Into 647, the Caliph Uthman transformed into port for the pilgrims going Mecque what was then a small village of fisherman. This function attracted towards Djeddah a varied population. The city experienced moreover a very strong development during the last decades, in particular because of the economic boom which Saudi Arabia knew. It is today a cosmopolitan metropolis of more than 3,4 million inhabitants.

A Tombeau of Eve is in Djeddah, however, this one was covered with concrete in 1975 by the religious authorities which did not want that it is a place of prayer for the Moslems.
