Dixoniella

Dixoniella is a kind of red algas unicellular of the family of the Rhodellaceae .

There exists for the moment only a species described in this kind: Dixoniella grisea (Geitler) J.L. Scott, S.T. Broadwater, Saunders STRIP CARTOONS, J.P. Thomas & P.W. Gabrielson (1992).

This species had been initially described by Geitler under the name of Rhodella grisea .
