Divisionnism
The divisionnism is a pictorial technique installation by Paul Signac.
It consists, after a stage of decomposition of the Lumière by the three primary colors and their complementary, to divide the table into zones then to reproduce by zones the Couleur observed with these three colors. And according to if this color is dark or not, one adds a complementary color which with the light enables us to see the desired color.
One practices it by key. For example, to reproduce Green (Yellow compound of and Blue), one proceeds by small keys of the two colors, without mixing them. If a darker green is wished, one puts more blue. For a clearer green, one puts more yellow.
Paul Signac and Georges Seurat used this technique in parallel with the Pointillisme.
