Division of Huygens

The division of Huygens is a space located inside the system of the rings of the planet Saturn.

Characteristics

The division of Huygens begins to 117.680 km from the center from Saturn and finishes to 122.200 km, between the Anneau B and the Division of Cassini. It is caused by resonance with the orbit of the moon Mimas and is largely emptier than the division of Cassini (itself less dense than the rings).

Division contains a small narrow ring, the Annelet of Huygens.
