Critical

Second album of Altaria, Divinity are regarded per many fans as the best album of the group. The presence with the song of Taage Laiho, singer of Kilpi, mark a new musical orientation by its voice more serious and more centered towards the power European metal. Jani Liimatainen is now only Master with the guitar and the keyboard, and that feels by very complex fronts of guitar alternating Power-chord, Palm transfers and Triade. The keyboard is also much more present than on the first album, replacing second guitar, which makes much think of Sonata Arctica without of resembling it.

As in the first album, the solos of keyboard miss, contrary to the solos of guitar where one recognizes well the style characteristic of Jani, techniques without the being with excess, and always very melody.
