Ditch diamond
The ditches diamonds are a typical element of the majority of the blocks of the Ligne Maginot. Their role was to prevent the enemies approaching the embrasures of the weapons and from collecting the remains of the block in the event of attack so that those do not block the embrasures of shooting. Their name is resulting from their pointed forms like those of diamonds.
