Distylium

Distylium is a kind of 18 species of trees and shrubs persisting of the family of the Hamamelidaceae , originating in the East and the South-east of Asia.

The sheets are alternate, obovales or ovals with lancéolées, coriaces, and of color dark green. The flowers, apétales, males and bisexuées are grouped out of ears or axillaires bunches.

Distylium can support weak frosts. It is preferable to plant it in the shade and the shelter of the cold strong winds and dessicants. A size will be made only if it is necessary.
