History

• 1790 : creation of the department of the Sum with 5 districts: Abbeville, Amiens, Doullens, Montdidier, Fibula
• 1800: creation of the districts: Abbeville, Amiens, Doullens, Montdidier, Fibula
• 1926: removal of the district of Doullens
