District of Bar-sur-Aube (5 cantons - sub-prefecture: Bar-sur-Aube);
- District of Nogent-sur-Seine (6 cantons - sub-prefecture: Nogent-sur-Seine);
- District of Troyes (22 cantons - prefecture: Troyes).
History

1790 : creation of the department with 6 districts: Arcis-on-Paddle, Bar-sur-Aube, the Bar-on-Seine, Ervy, Nogent-sur-Seine, Troyes
- 1800: creation of the districts: Troyes, Arcis-on-Paddle, Bar-sur-Aube, the Bar-on-Seine, Nogent-sur-Seine
- 1926: removal of the districts of Arcis-on-Paddle and the Bar-on-Seine
