The 3 Arrondissement S current have like Chef-lieu: Évreux , Andelys, Bernay.

History

  • 1790 : creation of the department of the Eure with 6 districts: Andelys, Bernay, Évreux, Louviers, Pont-Audemer, Verneuil
  • 1793: Bernay becomes chief town of the department, in the place of Évreux, for one short period
  • 1800: creation of the districts: Andelys, Bernay, Évreux, Louviers, Pont-Audemer
  • 1926: removal of the districts of Louviers and Pont-Audemer
